Anesthesiologist Locums Opportunity – Gainesville, FL

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for scheduled coverage at an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Gainesville, Florida.

Position Details:
- Location: Gainesville, FL
- Start Date: March 16, 2026
- Initial Dates: March 16–20, 2026
- Opportunity to book additional weeks or pick up shifts as needed
- Call: No call required

Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- Start Time: 7:30 AM
- Shift Length: Typically 8–10 hours

Practice Setting:
- Ambulatory Surgery Center
- EMR: Paper charting
- Providers perform their own cases
- Support staff per day: 1 MDA, 5 CRNAs, MDA available for supervision and blocks as needed

Case Volume & Mix:
- 20–22 cases per day
- Ortho, Plastics, Ophthalmology, General, ENT, GYN, Pain, Podiatry, Urology

Requirements:
- Board Certified in Anesthesiology
- Active Florida medical license
- DEA required
- Must be comfortable practicing independently

Credentialing:
-Temporary privileges under review
- Estimated timeframe: ~60 days

Travel & Expenses:
- Lodging and rental car/mileage reimbursed
