Job Title: Anesthesiologist – Locum Tenens
Location: Naples, FL
Duration: Ongoing (ASAP through further notice)
Schedule:
Flexibility REQUIRED — all shift types below must be covered
8‑hour day shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
12‑hour day shifts
12‑hour call shifts on the same dates as worked days
24‑hour weekend call
Anticipated shifts per month: Varies (10–20 shifts/month)
Schedule varies week to week (not a fixed 7‑on / 7‑off model)

On-Call Requirements:
Yes — weekday and weekend call required
Onsite call
Day off after first call: Yes
Weekend call: 24‑hour coverage required

Board Certification Required: Not specified
Setting: Float Pool / Acute Care Hospital
Patient Population: Adults
Support Staff: CRNAs; anesthesiologists provide both supervisory and personal care
Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days (temporary privileges may be available case‑by‑case)
Procedures Include:
General anesthesia
Cardiac and cardiovascular cases
Orthopedic surgery
Neurology cases
General surgery
GI and endoscopy
Cath lab cases
Urology and vascular cases
TEE
Ultrasound‑guided regional blocks
MDs personally provide anesthesia care approximately 20% of the time
Supervisory model otherwise; physicians perform their own cases after 7:00 PM on weekdays and 24/7 on weekends
