Candidate Eligibility
• Must reside more than 60 minutes from the facility
o Local candidates within 60 minutes are not eligible
• Required active certifications: PALS, ACLS, AHA BLS, TB Test
• Temporary privileges may be approved case by case
• Florida License & DEA required
o Priority given to providers with active licenses
• Credentialing Requirement: 24 months of case logs

• EMR: Cerner
• Beds:
o 86 Medical/Surgical beds
o 8 Adult ICU beds
o 10 NICU beds (Level II)
• Trauma Designation: Not a trauma center
• On Site Anesthesia Needs: No dedicated anesthesia only needs reported

Anesthesia Team Structure
• CRNA Model: 100% medically directed
• Anesthesiologist Coverage:
o MDs personally provide anesthesia ~20% of the time
o Practice model includes supervision and solo MD cases
o CRNAs do not perform solo cases
• Labor Epidurals: Performed by both CRNAs and anesthesiologists
