A well-supported hospital in Miramar Beach, FL is seeking a licensed Anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage. This role offers a balanced mix of medical direction and independent case work in a collaborative, CRNA-supported environment. The facility is not a trauma center, allowing for a more predictable and manageable case flow.

Work Environment & Schedule
• 86-bed hospital with Level II NICU (10 NICU beds, 8 adult ICU beds)
• Non-trauma facility
• CRNAs are 100% medically directed
• Anesthesiologists perform ~20% hands-on cases
• Case mix includes: orthopedics (total joints), spine, GI/endo, GYN, plastics, ENT, podiatry, IR, and urology
• Labor epidurals performed by both CRNAs and physicians
• EMR: Cerner
Requirements
• Active Florida medical license and DEA (required; priority given to active license holders)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA), TB test
• 24 months of recent case logs required
• Temporary privileges may be available on a case-by-case basis
