$360 Cardiac Anesthesiologist Needed – North Houston, TX

Start: January 1, 2026
Duration: Through July 2026 (option to extend)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7a–3p + call coverage

Call:
Weeknights: 3p–7a (or 5p–7a)
Weekends: 24-hour call (Saturday & Sunday)
On-call providers perform their own cases
Setting: Hospital | Level II Trauma
Case Types: CABG, TAVR, Valve, and Cath Lab procedures
Team Structure: 4 Anesthesiologists (3 General + 1 CV) supervising 14 CRNAs
Model: Cardiac Anesthesiologist performs own cases
Credentialing: ~8 weeks

Compensation:
Hourly: $360/hr + T&L
OT/Callback: $410/hr
Holiday (Jan 1): $410/hr
Weeknight Beeper Call: $900/night
Weekend Beeper Call: $1,600/24-hour shift

Travel & Lodging: Mileage or rental car, lodging, and roundtrip flight covered

Requirements:
MD/DO with active Texas medical license
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
Cardiac Fellowship preferred, but not required (strong cardiac experience accepted)
Clean background and credentialing file
Comfortable managing full range of cardiac anesthesia cases
