We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist for a locum opportunity in Chicago, Illinois, starting October 1, 2025. This is a highly desirable Monday–Friday schedule with no call and no weekends, offering a consistent routine in a collaborative care model.
Position Details:
• Start Date: October 1, 2025
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Shift Length: 8 hours (cases may start as early as 6:00 AM; pay begins at clock-in)
• Call/Weekends: None
• Team Model: 1 MD + 3 CRNAs
• Daily Guarantee: 8-hour pay guarantee
Case Types & Volume:
• ~3,700 cases annually
• Focused on general orthopedics, joint replacements, and spine procedures
EMR: Medaxion
Required Skills & Certifications:
• Proficient in regional anesthesia, including:
o Spinals
o Brachial plexus blocks
o Truncal and lower extremity blocks
o Techniques such as interscalene, adductor, and popliteal blocks
• Certifications Required: ACLS (AHA only), BLS, PALS
• Licensure: Active Illinois medical license and DEA required
