Locums Anesthesiologist Needed for AMAZING Hospital in Illinois!
Job description
Aya Locums is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist to join a stable, collaborative team at a modern, full-service regional medical center in the Midwest. This hospital serves as a key referral hub for a large rural catchment area and offers a wide variety of cases in a supportive, physician-led environment.
Basic Details
- Location: Illinois
- Contract Start: ASAP after credentialing
- Contract Length: 3 months, to start. Potential for 6-months.
- Schedule: 8 hour shifts, no call
Department Details
- High surgical volume handling ~60 cases per day between hospital and surgery center
- Case mix that includes ortho, trauma (level II), neuro, plastics, OB, general surgery, ENT, endo, urology, and peds (relatively healthy/low acuity) - no PICU/NICU patients
- CRNA supervision, 1:3 MD to CRNA ratio
- Anesthesia techs on shift
