Anesthesia Locum Needed in IL (1 hour outside of Chicago)

Job description

Assignment Highlights:
• Start Date: January/February 2026 (flexible)
• Schedule: 4x10s, Monday–Friday, 7a–5p
• Call: 1–2 in-house calls weekly (light, mainly OB epidurals) + backup pager call (minimal callbacks)
• Duration: Ongoing, 6+ month commitment
• Orientation: 1–2 days

Practice Details:
• Setting: Main hospital + 2 satellite ambulatory centers
• Caseload: General, OB, Endoscopy, Ortho, Regional blocks (minimal pediatrics, ages 2+ simple ENT)
• Daily Coverage: 9 anesthetizing locations (5 main ORs, 2 endo, 2 satellite ORs)
• Team Model: 1:4 Anesthesiologist to CRNA ratio — supervision only
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• ABA Board Certified
• 2+ years of experience
• Proficiency in Epic
• Comfortable with general, OB, endo, ortho, and regional blocks

Other Details:
• Credentialing: ~90 days
• Licensing: Active IL license/willing to license
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice covered

• Ongoing for 6 months
• Mon - Fri | 4x10 hour shifts | Jan/Feb 2026 start
• EMR: EPIC
