Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for an exciting locums opportunity, with coverage across the main hospital and two satellite facilities. This role offers a flexible start date with an ongoing need and the potential for a long-term assignment.

Position Details:
• Start Date: January/February 2026 (flexible)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 AM–5 PM (4x10s)
• Call: In-house call 1–2 times weekly (light volume, primarily OB epidurals); backup pager call with minimal callbacks
• Commitment: 6+ months, with ongoing coverage potential

Practice Details:
• Case Types: General, OB, Endoscopy, Orthopedics, Regional Blocks (Minimal Peds: ages 2+ for simple ENT cases)
• Facilities: 9 anesthetizing locations daily – 5 main ORs, 2 endoscopy suites, 2 satellite ORs
• Coverage: Main hospital + 2 ambulatory centers
• Team: Anesthesiologist-to-CRNA ratio 1:4 (supervisory role)
• EMR: Epic
• Orientation: 1–2 days provided

Requirements:
• Board-Certified Anesthesiologist
• 2+ years experience
• Proficiency with general, OB, endoscopy, orthopedics, and regional blocks
• Epic experience required
