Ongoing Anesthesia Locums 2hrs from Chicago, IL

Job description

• Coverage need: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 5pm schedule, 4 10s. Ongoing coverage opportunity with 6+ month commitment
• Call requirement: In-house call 1-2 times weekly. 24-hour in-house call shift once a month on average-- light volume focused on OB epidurals (hospital has a volume of 900 deliveries annually) Backup pager call with minimal callbacks
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days
• Willing to license: Yes, particularly for a good bill rate/lower bill
• Requirements: Must have Epic. Must have 2 years exp. Must know general, OB, endo, ortho and regional blocks
• 9 anesthetizing locations daily -- 5 main ORs, 2 endoscopy suites, 2 satellite ORs
• Three-site coverage includes main hospital and two satellite facilities (ambulatory centers)
• Anesthesiologist to CRNA ratio is 1:4. Docs will supervise.
• Case types: include general, OB, endoscopy, orthopedics, and regional blocks. Minimal pediatric cases -- primarily ages 2+ for simple ENT procedures
• EMR: Epic
