🩺 Anesthesiologist – Full-Time Locum | $380/hr | OB-Focused | Northwestern Kishwaukee Hospital

Location: Northwestern Kishwaukee Hospital, DeKalb, IL Start Date: January/February 2026 (flexible) Contract Length: 6+ months preferred Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 AM – 5 PM (4x10s) Orientation: 1–2 days

💰 Compensation

Hourly Rate: $380/hr

OT & Holiday Rate: 1.4x hourly

Weekday In-House Call: $325-$340/hr (14 hrs after clinic shift)

Weekend 24-Hour In-House Call: $380/hr

Weekday Beeper Call: $800 flat

Weekend Beeper Call: $2,200 flat

Call Back Pay: 1.4x hourly rate

🏥 Clinical Environment

Call Requirements:

In-house call 1–2 times weekly

One 24-hour in-house call per month (light volume, mostly OB epidurals)

Backup pager call with minimal callbacks

Annual OB Volume: ~900 deliveries

Anesthetizing Locations: 9 daily

5 main ORs

2 endoscopy suites

2 satellite ORs

Coverage Sites: Main hospital + 2 ambulatory centers

CRNA Supervision Ratio: 1:4

🧠 Case Types

Regional blocks

Minimal pediatrics (ages 2+ for simple ENT procedures)

✅ Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years

Skills: Must be proficient in general, OB, endo, ortho, and regional blocks

EMR: Epic

Credentialing Timeline: ~90 days

Licensing: Willing to license for candidates with favorable billing rates

Restrictions: No previous Northwestern employees may be submitted
