Anesthesiologist – Locum Tenens – Illinois
Job description
Location: Illinois – dual sites
Schedule: 7a until cases are complete
Site 1;: 7a–3p (5 ORs) / 3p–5p (2 ORs) / 5p–7p (2 ORs)
Site 2; 7a–3p (5 ORs) / 3p–5p (3 ORs)
Team: 3 MDs and 10 CRNAs during the day
Call: MDs take OR call at site 1; CRNAs take OB call at site 2
EMR: Epic
Vaccination: Required; religious/medical exemptions accepted
Experience: Cardiac/TEE preferred but not required; AHA ACLS required
Requirements:
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
Active state medical license
Proficient in spinals, epidurals, and blocks (caselogs required)
Comfortable performing independent cases and supervising CRNAs
- Diverse case mix including Pediatrics, Ortho, General, Cardiac, Endoscopy, GYN, Pain, and more
- Collaborative model: some supervision plus independent cases
- Spinals, blocks, and epidurals required; caselogs proof required
