PRN ANESTHESIOLOGIST NEAR FORT WAYNE, INDIANA $350/HR

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment at two community hospitals in northeast Indiana. This opportunity features a diverse case mix, minimal supervision, and consistent call rotation. Full travel and lodging provided.

Weeks of: Sept 15, Sept 19, Oct 13, Oct 27, Nov 10, Nov 24, Dec 8, Dec 22–26 (excluding Christmas Day), Jan 5, Jan 26, Feb 2, Feb 16, Feb 23, Mar 2 — more dates to follow

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Call: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3 weeks on / 1 week off rotation)

OB + OR Call at one site; OR-only Call at the other (20-minute response required)

Credentialing Timeframe: ~120 days

🛠 Case Types Include:
Endoscopy, OB/GYN, Peds, General Surgery, Ortho, Urology, Trauma, Ophthalmology

Regional blocks: Interscalene, Supraclavicular, Axillary, Adductor Canal, Popliteal, TAPs, Spinals, Epidurals

📋 Requirements:
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS

Licensure: Active Indiana license or IMLC-eligible

Case Logs Required: Spinals, blocks, epidurals

Experience: Comfortable working with minimal to no supervision

EMR: Epic

👨‍⚕️ Team & Facility:
1 MD / 1 CRNA on-site at each location

3 ORs at one site, 2 ORs at the other

Anesthesia model: MDs primarily perform own cases

💵 Compensation & Perks:
Hourly Rate: $350
