Anesthesiologist Needed in Angola, IN

Location: Angola, IN

Start: November

13-week assignment

SCHEDULE

M-F 7a-3p /Call hours 3p-7a M-F (weeknights) first out post call

Weekend Call required and open to all providers

Call Rotation- Starts at 3p at least once a week during startup phase, sometimes twice a week, looking for flexibility from providers

Weekend Call Rotation- All weekends open during startup phase

If working full week, will take call. No call on Mondays

Call response time- 30 minutes

3 Anesthesia Sites per day including OB

Case types ~2800 cases per year, mostly general, Ortho, OB (~275 deliveries/year). GYN, Ophthalmology, Podiatry. Perform VBACS but no high risk OB. C sections are done in the main OR

*Providers must be willing to take call, proficient on blocks, spinals, epidurals, ensure they are not restricted to the cases that are required

EMR- EPIC

CERTIFICATIONS- ACLS (required to be through AHA) PALS, BLS

REQUIRED- Epidural & Regional/ Spinal Blocks

Not supervising. CRNAs and MDs have the same autonomy. CRNAs work independently. MD's handle the podiatry cases

Types of cases required: Ortho, Endo, Podiatry, ENT and OB. They do Vbacs, no high risk OB

Spinals, blocks, epidurals - must be proficient: yes

Caselogs required: Yes

Number of providers during the day: 1 MD/2 CRNA

Number of ORs: 3

Number of Endo Room: 2

Bed size 25

Board Certified- Required

Credentialing Time Frame- 60-90 days (Temps are available with a clear background / malpractice history and active, unrestricted license)

-250 case logs needed in past year (date, procedure, name and facility performed at). Reported from facility not self reported

Willing to accept IMLC IN licensure (they've seen process move as fast as 5 days before)

Large volume of general surgery, endo procedures and ortho. Roughly 250 deliveries per year, perform VBacs, No high risk OB, C sections are done in Main OR


Will not take Board Eligible, Must be Board Certified

Only 8 hr Guarantee
