Target Start Date: April 6, 2026 (ASAP candidates encouraged)

Schedule
Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours — call optional
Shift Structure & Expectations:
Flexible mix of day shifts and OB/OR call
Standard day shift: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Call options (negotiable based on candidate preference):
OR call: 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
OB call: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Will consider candidates who prefer days only, Monday–Friday
Consistent weekly scheduling available for the right fit
EMR: Epic (highlight if experienced)
Practice Details
Setting:
Inpatient anesthesia practice within a regional acute care hospital
High‑volume surgical environment with diverse specialty coverage
Care‑team model with anesthesiologists supervising CRNAs, with the option to perform own cases
Department Focus:
Broad case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, spine, neuro, vascular, ENT, GYN (robotics), and NORA cases
OB anesthesia including epidurals and spinals (if taking call)
Cardiac cases available; CV certification preferred but not required
High demand for providers comfortable with advanced line placement and regional anesthesia
Work Expectations:
Typical workload: 3–5 cases per day depending on assignment area
Provide anesthesia coverage across ORs, OB, endoscopy, MRI, cath lab, IR, and NORA
Perform procedures independently and supervise CRNAs as needed
Ability to provide case logs if requested
Credentialing Timeframe:
Approximately 90 days
Start date dependent on application completion

Procedures & Case Types:
General anesthesia
Orthopedics & orthopedic spine
Neuro
GYN (including robotic cases)
Vascular
ENT
GI/endoscopy
Cath Lab and TEEs
MRI and IR
Central line and arterial line placement
Epidurals and spinals (if taking OB call)
Some cardiac anesthesia (TEE certification required for dedicated CV roles)
Additional Details:
High‑acuity inpatient environment
Minimal pediatrics
Strong preference for candidates with CV exposure but not required
Requirements
Role: Physician — Anesthesiology
Board Certification: Required
License: Must hold active Indiana medical license
DEA: Required (Indiana‑specific)
Certifications:
TEE certification required only for CV anesthesia roles
Standard anesthesia board certification required
Experience:
Recent, relevant hospital‑based anesthesia experience
Full procedural competency across required case types
Skills Required:
Ability to perform spinals, epidurals, arterial lines, central lines
Management of high‑acuity adult surgical patients
Comfort supervising CRNAs in a care‑team model
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
