Anesthesiologist Needed NJ

Coverage Dates: January 2026 – March 2026 (with potential to extend)

EMR: Cerner

Credentialing Timeframe: 45–60 days

Schedule:

Flexible 8-hour or 12-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM

Call coverage (weekday, night, and weekend) available but not required

Schedule may vary based on surgical volume and hospital needs

Required Skills & Procedures:

General Surgical (Adult)

IV Regional and Plexus Anesthesia

Open Heart and Thoracic (non-Open Heart) Cases

Complex Vascular Cases (non-Open Heart)

Spinal and Regional Anesthesia

Local Infiltration

Ventilation Management

Insertion of TEE, PA Catheter, Arterial Line, and Central Line

Supervision of CRNAs required

Qualifications:

Board Certification in Anesthesiology – REQUIRED

Active New Jersey Medical License – REQUIRED

ACLS & BLS – REQUIRED

Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia – PREFERRED

Experience Required:

Open Heart, Thoracic (non-Open Heart), and Complex Vascular cases

TEE, PA Catheter, Arterial Line, and Central Line placement

Supervision of CRNAs

Familiarity with Cerner EMR (preferred)

Travel Reimbursement:

Flight, Hotel, Rental Car

Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
