Facility in upstate NY, seeking Anesthesiology locums coverage Rates: $415/hr Work Scope: Setting: 100% OR and Labor & Delivery, no clinic Procedures: General anesthesia for bread-and-butter cases (ortho, general surgery, ENT, GI, OB/GYN, vascular, plastics, urology, colorectal) Pediatrics: Healthy children only (optional) Regional Blocks: Yes (for OR cases) Pain Management: No outpatient pain Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM On-call: Required (must be within 15 minutes) Daily Cases: 4–5 cases/day Delivery Volume: 700–800/year ORs: 9 main ORs, built ~18 years ago Staffing Structure: Team: Approx. 15 MDs, 2 CRNAs, OR techs, anesthesia techs, PAs, and nursing staff AA Coverage: None Mid-level Supervision: Rarely required Trauma Level: Level III (ACS verified) EMR: EPIC Candidate Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible NY State Medical License ACLS required No major malpractice or work gaps (for temp privileges)
