$400/hr Anesthesiologist Need in Plattsburg, NY

Job description

Our client in Plattsburgh, NY is actively seeking 2–3 Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologists for ongoing locum tenens coverage. We’re looking for providers who can commit to 2–3 week blocks, ideally covering both OR and OB anesthesia, with call responsibilities.

This is a great opportunity to join a supportive, well-staffed team of 15 physicians and allied health professionals in a 100% OR and Labor & Delivery setting. Temporary privileges available for qualified candidates with a clean file.

Trauma Level: III
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: Temp privileges available

Schedule & Coverage Needs:
Shifts: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM + agreed upon call
Call: Required – must be within 15 minutes of the hospital, Includes OB anesthesia

Practice Environment:
Team Size: ~15 MDs (incl. per diems), 2 CRNAs
Additional Support: Anesthesia techs, PAs, RNs, OR techs, directors, managers
Supervision: Rarely supervise CRNAs

Case Types: Bread & butter cases, OB, Regional blocks for OR, Ortho, general surgery, Plastic, ENT, vascular, urology, GI, colorectal. SOME Healthy pediatric cases (no high-risk)

Candidate Requirements:
Board Status: BC or BE in Anesthesiology
License: Active NY State Medical License (required)
Certifications: ACLS
Clean File: No malpractice history or work gaps

Pay rate: $400/hr + T/L
