A trauma hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

Bronx, New York, is the birthplace of hip-hop culture. Its also home to some major attractions, including the Bronx Museum of the Arts, the oldest public golf course in the country (Van Cortlandt), Edgar Allan Poe Cottage, Americas first zoo, and NYCs sprawling botanical gardens.

About the clinician's workday

The facility is seeking a provider with flexibility to work 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, including in-house call. Board certification is required. While the preference is for a single provider, others will be considered with a minimum commitment of two weeks. One week per month is not ideal due to the credentialing and scheduling demandsif only one week is offered, each must be for a different week. This is a Level 1 trauma center with over 2,000 deliveries annually and active trauma and obstetrics services.
