Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an Anesthesiologist to provide ongoing coverage at a small community hospital in western New York. This position offers a consistent block schedule, a manageable case mix, and a balanced combination of solo and supervisory work.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Contract Length: Ongoing
• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off (Monday–Friday with weekend call coverage)
• Call: Weekend call from Friday night to Monday morning; some weeknight call preferred

Work Details
• Case Types: Urology, orthopedics, endoscopy, podiatry, general surgery, and OB
• Exclusions: No cardiac or neuro cases
• Case Volume: 12–14 cases on slower days; 25–28 on busy days

Practice Setting
• Inpatient – Community Hospital

Requirements
• Board Certification: Required
• License: Active New York license (not willing to license)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS required
