High-Paying Anesthesiologist Locum – Plattsburgh, NY

Schedule & Duration

Start: As soon as credentialed (30-day process)

Duration: Ongoing until permanent hires are secured

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Call: Required – must be within 15 minutes of facility

Commitment: Full-time or minimum two weeks per month

Practice Details

Setting: 100% OR & L&D (no clinic work)

Volume: Approximately 4–5 cases per day; 700–800 deliveries per year

Cases: Bread and butter – Ortho, General Surgery, OB/GYN, ENT, GI, Urology, Vascular, Plastics, Colorectal

Excludes: No cardiac, neuro, or cranial cases

Regional Blocks: Yes (for OR cases)

Pediatrics: Optional – healthy kids only

Team & Environment

Mid-sized anesthesia group: approximately 15 MDs and 2 CRNAs

Rare CRNA supervision

Supported by anesthesia techs, PAs, nurses, and OR techs

Trauma Level III (ACS designated)

EMR: Epic

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology

OB experience required (labor epidurals and unscheduled C-sections)

ACLS and MMR required

Clean background for temp privileges

Compensation

$400/hr + Travel & Lodging

Call Pay:

$1,000 – 12-hour beeper

$2,000 – 24-hour beeper

1.25x OT/call-back rate
