About the clinician's workday

The anesthesiologist will deliver comprehensive anesthesia services across multiple surgical specialties including general surgery, trauma cases, endoscopy procedures, gastrointestinal interventions, electrophysiology, and MR/CT procedures while excluding pediatric, cardiac, and neuro cases. The clinician will work flexible scheduling of 4x10 or 5x8 hour shifts totaling 40 hours per week with commitment to four weeks monthly coverage. The position requires supervising CRNAs in a 2:1 ratio across 13 main operating rooms and two ambulatory surgery centers with four operating rooms each. The clinician will utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and coordinate patient care with a team of 30 MDs and 17 CRNAs. Board certification is required with no call obligations, and Pediatric Fellowship training is preferred but not mandatory for this locum tenens assignment.
