Job Title: Anesthesiologist – Locum Tenens
Location: Potsdam, NY
Duration: Ongoing
Schedule:
24‑hour call coverage (7:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
Coverage is call-only (no scheduled OR shifts)
Specific coverage blocks include weekday call and full weekend call rotations:

3/23/26 – 3/27/26 (1 weekday call: 3/25)
4/13/26 – 4/17/26 (1 weekday call: 4/15)
4/20/26 – 4/24/26 (1 weekday call: 4/21)
5/15/26 – 5/22/26 (3 weekday calls; full weekend call 5/15–5/18)
5/25/26 – 6/5/26 (5 weekday calls; full weekend call 5/29–6/1)
6/26/26 – 7/2/26 (2 weekday calls; full weekend call 6/26–6/29)

On-Call Requirements: Yes — 24‑hour weekday and weekend call
Board Certification Required: Yes (Board Certified preferred; Board Eligible considered)
Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Patient Population: Adults and Pediatrics
EMR: EPIC
Support Staff: RNs, CNAs; may include CRNA supervision
Procedures Include:
General anesthesia
Epidurals
Inpatient anesthesia coverage
Scheduled and emergent surgical cases
Possible CRNA supervision
Average patient volume: 10–15
Patient acuity includes adults and pediatric patients
