A community hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

While on assignment in Northern North Carolina, visit Pisgah National Forest for breathtaking views, tour the Biltmore, or walk through the gardens of the North Carolina Arboretum!

About the clinician's workday

This position is for a board-certified anesthesiologist to provide coverage due to a leave of absence. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, working four 10-hour shifts each week. The provider must have an active North Carolina license and be willing to help with weekday beeper call (1:2 ratio); no weekend call is required. Post-call days off are not provided. Case types include general bread and butter, heavy endoscopy, orthopedics, and urologyno OB cases. While the percentage of hands-on work may vary, the anesthesiologist must be willing to perform their own cases.
