Aya Locums is seeking an Anesthesiologist for a 6-month hospital-based contract in Western North Carolina, with potential to extend. This assignment offers a collaborative care team model, flexible shift options, and a broad case mix in a busy regional hospital.

Assignment Details
• Duration: 6 months, with potential extension
• Schedule: 8s, 10s, or 12s – no call required
• Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours only

Case Mix / Work Details
• Average CV cases/day: 10–15
• Case types: Busy OB, trauma, designated stroke center, vascular, neuro, urology, ortho, robotics, endoscopy, GYN, spine
• Special procedures: Must be able to do peripheral nerve blocks
• Patient population: Adults, very little pediatrics
• Support staff: Anesthesia techs, CRNAs
• Department description: MDs primarily supervise but may also run their own cases
• EMR: Cerner and AIMS

Practice Model
• Care team model (1 MD:3–4 CRNAs)
• Hospital-based anesthesia service

Requirements
• License: Active North Carolina license required
• Certification: BE or BC in Anesthesiology
