New Opportunity Located in Western NC with Aya Locums: Anesthesiologist

Aya Locums is excited to present a 6+ month Anesthesiology opportunity in Western North Carolina. This is a high-volume hospital-based role with a strong care team model, covering a broad case mix. Excellent opportunity for an NC-licensed provider looking for immediate placement.

Assignment Details

-Start Date: As soon as credentialed
-Duration: 6 months (possible extension)
-Schedule: 8–10 hour shifts, no call, no weekends
-Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only

Work Details
-Case Mix: OB, trauma, vascular, neuro, urology, ortho, GYN, robotics, endo
-10–15 CV cases per day
-Support Staff: 1 MD:3–4 CRNAs, anesthesia techs
-Practice Model: Care Team model; primarily supervisory, though MDs may work their own cases if preferred
-Procedures: Must be able to perform peripheral nerve blocks
-EMR: Cerner + AIMS
-Exclusions: No craniotomies or transplants; minimal peds; trauma & cardiac have dedicated teams

Requirements
-License: Active NC license (required)
-Board Status: BC or BE in Anesthesiology
