Aya Locums is seeking an Anesthesiologist to provide ongoing coverage at a Level II trauma center in North Carolina. This opportunity offers a steady caseload, collaborative environment, and a well-balanced schedule within a supportive anesthesia care team model.

• Start Date: January 19, 2026 – ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Coverage Type: Scheduled shifts and On Call required
• Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Work Details
• Specialty: Anesthesiology
• Support Staff: CRNA team with an MD present at all times
• Trauma Level: II
• EMR: Cerner, AIMS
• Operating Rooms: 4
• Surgical Volume: Approximately 600 cases annually
• Case Types: Anesthesia including GI, cardioversions, orthopedics, and GYN procedures
o No pediatrics, no OB, no high-acuity or ICU-level cases

Requirements
• License: Active North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Board Certification: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Credentialing Timeframe: 2–3 months (temporary privileges available)
