Anesthesiology Locum – Supervision Model | Greensboro NC | 40-Hour Guarantee | Call Rotation

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a Medical Supervision model locum opportunity covering two hospital sites in North Carolina starting January 2026. This is a stable, full-time role with a 40-hour weekly guarantee, strong CRNA support, and optional call rotation.

Position Details:
Start Date: January 5, 2026
Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule: 40-hour work week | 8-hour day shifts (7a–3p)
Call: Weeknights 3p–7a | Weekends 7a–7a (1:7 rotation)

Practice Model: Medical Supervision
Case Mix Includes:
Site 1: General, vascular, neuro, OB/GYN (~1,000 deliveries/yr), urology — everything except hearts and complex peds
Site 2: Healthy peds dental and ENT, ENT, cataracts, ortho (no totals), and endoscopy

Site Coverage:
Site 1: 4 MDs, 15 CRNAs/day (14 sites)
Site 2: 1 MD, 3 CRNAs/day (3 sites)
Epidurals: CRNAs handle during the day; MDs handle on-call/weekends
EMR: Epic

Credentialing & Orientation:
Temporary privileges available for clean providers with a full verified file
Credentialing support provided by Aya Locums

Requirements:
Board Certification: Required
