Anesthesiology Physician Needed in Asheville, NC:
Start Date: April 2026 ASAP
Shift Details: strong night need - only submit if they are a true nocturnist - 5p - 8a (every day of the week)
Duration: 6 months, possibly longer
Case Mix: Busy OB, trauma, designated stroke center, vascular, neuro, urology, ortho
Must be able to do peripheral nerve blocks
General Anesthesia Shifts: 8s, 10s, 12s. No call is needed.
Department Description: Care Team Model: Yes, mainly supervisory but MDs can work their own cases if preferred.
Special Procedures: General, Ortho, Endo, Urology, GYN, Robotics, Neuro/Spine. Very little Peds. **Must be able to do peripheral nerve block**
* No craniotomies or transplants. There is a dedicated team to trauma and cardiac. There may be potential for vascular.
Practice Setting:
• Hospital

Credentialing Timeframe: - 90 days, ASAP
Active NC License Required
