Facility:
This is a nationally recognized pediatric medical center and ACS Level 1 Trauma Center serving patients from neonatal to adult age ranges. The facility features 14 operating rooms, an annual ER volume of 70,000, and a collegial team of 22 anesthesiologists working alongside RNs, surgical techs, PCAs, surgeons, proceduralists, and APPs in a supportive care team model.

Job Details:

• Two full-time Locum Anesthesiologist positions available for FMLA coverage
• Coverage dates: November 1, 2026 - February 28, 2027 or November 1, 2026 - April 30, 2027
• Hospital-based operating room setting; Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM shifts
• Average of 50-60 surgical cases per day across a neonatal to adult patient population
• Mix of practicing solo and supervising CRNAs in a care team model
• Anesthesia cart preparation is not required
• Required procedures include general surgical cases (neonatal, pediatric, and adult)
• Required procedures include thoracic cases (except open heart) and complex orthopedic cases
• Required procedures include neurosurgical cases and ventilation management
• Must be Board Certified with a completed Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Active Ohio medical license required
• Clean background required with no malpractice history
• Fingerprinting must be completed immediately upon acceptance
• Travel reimbursement includes mileage at IRS standard rate, rental car, hotel, and flight
