Facility:
This is a nationally recognized, hospital-based pediatric medical center serving patients from neonatal to adult age ranges. The facility operates 14 operating rooms with an annual ER volume of 70,000 visits and holds an ACS Level 1 Trauma Center designation. The anesthesiology department consists of 22 anesthesiologists working within a collegial team of RNs, surgical techs, PCAs, surgeons, proceduralists, and APPs.

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens coverage positions available with two start date options: November 1, 2026 - February 28, 2027 or November 1, 2026 - April 30, 2027
• Coverage is hospital-based in operating rooms, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• No on-call requirements
• Average of 50-60 surgical cases per day
• Patient age demographic ranges from neonatal to adult
• Mix of practicing solo and supervising CRNAs in a care team model
• Required to perform general surgical cases across neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations
• Required to perform thoracic cases (excluding open heart) and complex orthopedic cases
• Required to perform neurosurgical cases and ventilation management
• Must be Board Certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology
• Must have completed a Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship
• Active Ohio medical license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Travel reimbursement provided including mileage at IRS standard rate, rental car, hotel, and flight
• Fingerprinting required immediately upon acceptance
