This smaller medical center maintains an operating room program supporting a varied surgical caseload across general and bread and butter procedures. Clinicians operate with a degree of autonomy within the facility's established perioperative workflows. Locum tenens anesthesiologist coverage is sought on an ASAP ongoing basis to address staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians in this role will provide 100% hands-on anesthesia services during day shifts within an operating room setting, with 10-hour shift configurations. The surgical case mix consists of general bread and butter procedures, with approximately 90% adult cases. No call coverage is required for this locum tenens assignment. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for all clinicians considered for this role.
