Facility in Altoona, PA seeking Anesthesia locums coverage Rates: $410/hr Start Date: July 1, 2025 Position Type: Part-Time | Locum Tenens Key Responsibilities Shifts: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (late coverage until 5:30 PM or 7:30 PM expected) Call Coverage: Weeknight in-house: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Weekend in-house: 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) or split 12-hour shifts Settings: Main hospital OR (12 ORs), up to 16 anesthetizing locations Supervisory & Hands-On: Mix of supervising CRNAs and providing direct anesthesia Required Experience & Skills Board Certified or Eligible (within 3 years of residency) – Required Experience in: General Surgery, OB, Pediatrics, GI, Trauma, Ortho, Neuro, Urology – Required NPDB Self-query report Licensure: Active PA license preferred; IMLC accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS – Required Minimum Experience: 1 year Facility & Team Highlights Hospital Size: 380 beds Trauma Level: III Anesthesia Team: 21 CRNAs, 8 MDs Support Services: 24/7 intensivist and neuro, anesthesiology supervision (1:5 ratio) EMR: Cerner
