Doximity Locum Anesthesiologist | Philadelphia, PA

Job description

Position Overview:
Provide expert anesthesia care at Nazareth Hospital and surrounding sites including Nazareth Endo, St. Francis, Mercy Fitzgerald, and St. Mary Medical Center. Cases primarily focus on general OR anesthesia with significant exposure to cardiac and OB cases.

Practice Details:

Work with a skilled team of MD anesthesiologists and CRNAs

Charting via EPIC (anticipated)

Patient mix: Adult and OB; no pediatrics

Level 2 trauma center with high case volume (3k-5k surgeries and 560+ deliveries annually)

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology, with cardiac anesthesia residency preferred

ACLS certification required

Active Pennsylvania license or eligibility through IMLC

Comfortable managing general, cardiac, and OB anesthesia cases

Credentialing & Scheduling:

Fast credentialing with emergency privileges available

Start date: September 9, 2025

Commitment: Full-time onsite preferred; 1 week/month availability accepted
