Job Description:
Join a dynamic anesthesia team providing care for adult and obstetric patients across several regional hospitals. You will deliver anesthesia for a wide variety of cases, including general surgery, cardiac procedures, and obstetrics. This role is inpatient-focused with anticipated call duties, including both in-house and home call responsibilities.

You will collaborate with a team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs, sometimes working solo and occasionally supervising CRNAs. Candidates must be board certified in anesthesiology with cardiac anesthesia experience, hold an active Pennsylvania medical license or be eligible through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC), and maintain ACLS certification.

Fast credentialing and emergency privileges facilitate a quick start. An initial commitment of three months is preferred, though part-time weekly availability may be accommodated.

Schedule:

Weekday shifts are typically 9 hours, starting early morning

Weekend shifts include 24-hour coverage or split 12-hour shifts

Call rotation involves in-house and home call with a 30-minute response expectation

Additional Details:

Level 2 trauma center coverage with high surgical and delivery volumes across sites

Use of EPIC electronic medical records (anticipated)

Supportive team with 20+ anesthesiologists and CRNAs

Patient population primarily adults and obstetrics; no pediatrics
