Description:
A hospital in Philadelphia is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Anesthesiologist with strong cardiovascular experience. The provider must be able to perform nerve blocks for vascular patients. Paper charting is used. No additional specialty certifications required. Active PA license required; this facility is not willing to license.

Case Types:
Cardiovascular and vascular anesthesia, including nerve blocks.

Responsibilities:

Assist with directing and coordinating activities within the Anesthesia Department

Provide full perioperative anesthesia care

Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments

Obtain and verify informed consent

Review anesthesia options and risks with patients

Perform induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia

Monitor physiologic status throughout procedures

Perform clinical interventions as needed


Requirements:

M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school

ECFMG and FLEX (if applicable)

Completion of an approved Anesthesiology residency

Active Pennsylvania medical license (no licensing support)
