Anesthesiologist Needed in Lewisburg, PA

Location: Lewisburg, PA
Start Date: 01/01/2026
Duration: 13 weeks (with option to extend)
Schedule:
8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
24-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
Monday–Friday daytime shifts
Weekday call required (Mon–Thu), no call on Fridays
On-Call Requirements: Yes – Weekday call (home call, shared equally)
Board Certification Required: Yes – Anesthesiology
Setting: Acute Care Hospital (Operating Room)
Patient Population: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: 20 CRNAs (in-house call), 9 anesthesiologists, full OR team
Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days
Procedures Include:
Medical direction model
Cases: bariatric, breast, general, OBGYN, ortho, plastics
Regional anesthesia experience required (heavy orthopedic service)
13 ORs, 1 hybrid OR, 2 cath labs
Approx. 600 surgical cases/month, 40 endo cases/month, 700 deliveries/year

Additional Requirements:
PA license required (IMLC accepted; willing to license)
DEA and PA CSR required
ACLS, BLS, PALS required
Epic experience required
COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
Flu vaccine required
