Locum Anesthesiologist - PA license - Flexible Scheduling - Will license

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to provide locum services in Lewisburg, PA.
This is an excellent opportunity for an anesthesiologist looking for weekday coverage with call responsibilities in a collaborative, hospital-based setting. Coverage begins January 2026 and is ongoing.

🏥 Job Details:

Case Types: Bariatric, breast, general, OB/GYN, orthopedic, plastic surgery; no trauma, neuro, or cardiac cases.
Special Procedures: Regional anesthesia experience required; heavy orthopedic service.
Setting: Acute care hospital with state-of-the-art ASC.
Schedule: Day shifts (8-hour or 10-hour options: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM); 24-hour shifts available; weekday call required (Monday–Thursday), no call on Fridays; approximately 2 weeks per month.
Support: Collaborative team of 9 anesthesiologists and 20 CRNAs; 100% medical direction model; CRNAs provide in-house call coverage.
Facilities: 13 ORs, 1 hybrid OR, and 2 cath labs.
EMR System: Epic
Patient Population: Pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics (12 months and older)


✅ Requirements:

Board Certification in Anesthesiology required
Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC accepted
DEA and Pennsylvania CSR required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) required
Experience with Epic EMR
COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
Flu vaccine required
