Job description

Cardiac Anesthesiologist – Beaumont, TX (East of Houston)
Rate: $385/hr + travel, lodging, and rental car or mileage reimbursement

Schedule & Assignment:

Start Date: August 1st (client open to Sept–Nov starts as well)

Monday–Friday, 7a–3p (OT paid after 3p)

3–6 month commitment preferred, potential to extend

Call: General call highly preferred but not required (no CV call)

Case Types:

Primary focus: Hearts / CABG (avg. 2–3 cases/week)

General cases optional but preferred (e.g., Ortho, Gyn, GI, Urology, ENT, Neuro-Spine)

Adult patients only

CV case logs from the past 2 years are required

Cardiac fellowship and TEE not required

Anesthesia Model: Supervised Care Team
Daily Ratio: 3 General MDs + 1 CV MD to 8 CRNAs
EMR: Epic
Facility: Large regional hospital with ASC cross-credentialing

Credentialing: Temp privileges within 2–3 weeks
License Required: Active Texas license
Certs Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS

Compensation:

$385/hr + all travel & lodging

OT: +$50/hr

Weeknight Call: $1,000

Weekend Call: $2,000 (2 gratis hours per 24-hr call shift)

Weekly flights covered for providers working full-time
