Pediatric Anesthesiologist – El Paso, TX
Rate: $450/hr + full travel, lodging, and rental car or mileage reimbursement

Assignment Overview:

Location: El Paso, TX

Worksite: Dedicated Pediatric Hospital

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8–10 hour shifts

Open Dates Needing Coverage:

July 21–25

Aug 18–22, Aug 25–29

Sept 8–12, Sept 29–Oct 3

Oct 27–31

Nov 24–28 (Thanksgiving Day covered)

Dec 22–26 (Christmas Day covered)

Dec 2–Jan 2 (New Year’s Day covered)

Minimum Commitment: 1 week

Ongoing need with potential for more 2026 dates to open

Call Details:

Weeknight and weekend beeper call required

PED ANES handles own cases while on call

Case Types:

All pediatric cases (except no hearts)

Patients range from newborns to 18 years old

Practice Details:

Mix of own cases and supervision depending on CRNA staffing

Paper charting

EMR not used

Active TX license required

PALS required; ACLS/BLS possibly needed

Credentialing: Temp privileges possible within 1 week for clean files

Compensation Package:

Hourly: $450/hr

OT/Callback: $525/hr

Weeknight Call: $1,500/night

Weekend Call: $2,500/weekend

Full travel, lodging, and rental car covered
