General Anesthesiologist – 10 Openings – Houston, TX
Multiple Sites (Cross-Credentialed)
Start Date: August 1

Overview:
We’re seeking 10 General Anesthesiologists for hospital-based coverage across two locations in Houston, TX. Flexible start dates and contract durations from 3 months to 1 year available (please specify preference). Providers will be cross-credentialed at both facilities and must be open to working at either site.

Schedule & Call:

Shifts: Days or nights – 8s, 10s, or 12s (please notate preference)

Call: 1 weeknight call per week + 1 weekend call per month preferred

Not required but priority will be given to call-takers

Weekend coverage optional

Case Types (across both sites):

General, Ortho, GYN, Urology, Endo, ENT, Cosmetic, Neuro/Spine, Pain, Cardiology, Vascular, Radiology

No required blocks/spinals/epidurals (optional if skilled and interested)

Practice Model:

Loose supervision (mix of solo work and oversight)

New grads accepted

Rates (based on call + distance from site):

Local MD (no call): $310/hr

Local MD (takes call): $320/hr

Non-local MD (no call): $320/hr

Non-local MD (takes call): $330/hr

OT/Callback: Additional $25/hr

12-hr Beeper Call: $1,000

24-hr Beeper Call: $2,000

Travel Support:

Monthly travel stipend available (up to $3,500 depending on distance from Houston and housing needs)

Must provide full-time hours to qualify for full stipend

Credentialing:

Timeline: ~60 days

Temp privileges not available

Requirements:

Must have an active TX license

Board certified or eligible

Must not be affiliated with Texans Anesthesia Group

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (TBD by facility)
