General Anesthesiologist – 10 Openings – Houston, TX (Southeast & Pearland)
Start Date: August 1 | Contract: 3 months to 1 year

Overview:
We’re working with a top-tier client seeking 10 General Anesthesiologists for full-time locums coverage across two hospital sites in the Houston area. Providers will be cross-credentialed and must be open to working at both locations. The client is motivated to move quickly—offers typically go out within hours of presentation.

Schedule & Call:

Shifts: 8s, 10s, or 12s (days or nights – please specify preference)

Call: 1 weeknight beeper call/week + 1 weekend beeper call/month preferred

Call optional, but call-takers prioritized

Weekend coverage optional

Case Mix:
Memorial Hermann Southeast:
Endo/GI, General, Vascular, Urology, Ortho, Radiology, GYN, Pain, OB, Cardiology, ENT, Neuro/Spine

Memorial Hermann Pearland:
Endo/GI, Ortho, General, ENT, Urology, Vascular, Radiology, Cardiology, GYN

Blocks/spinals/epidurals not required – optional if skilled and interested

Practice Model:

Loose supervision

New grads accepted

Compensation (Based on Distance & Call):

Local MD (no call): $310/hr

Local MD (takes call): $320/hr

Non-local MD (no call): $320/hr

Non-local MD (takes call): $330/hr

OT/Callback: +$25/hr

12-hr Beeper Call: $1,000

24-hr Beeper Call: $2,000

Requirements:

Active Texas license

Board certified or board eligible

Cannot be affiliated with Texans Anesthesia Group

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (TBD)

Credentialing:

~60 days (no temp privileges)

Formal interview/screening through USAP process
