General Anesthesiologist – West TX (Multiple Needs)
Flexible Scheduling | Ongoing Locum Opportunity | $375–$400/hr + Travel & Lodging

We're working with a top-tier client in West Texas (approx. 3 hrs 45 mins SW of DFW) seeking multiple General Anesthesiologists to assist with ongoing coverage at a community-based hospital. This site offers great staff culture, strong provider retention, and modern ORs. Scheduling is highly flexible — 1 week per month minimum.

Position Details:

Monday–Friday, 6:45am–3:30pm

Shifts available now through December (and into early January)

Flexible options: work 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks/month

Prefer full-time commitments but open to short-term

November–January holiday weeks available at $400/hr

Case Types:

Bread & Butter: General Surgery, Ortho, Urology, ENT, Neuro, Cardio-Thoracic, some Peds

OB is covered by CRNA team (not required for MDs)

Rare supervision; most shifts are 100% own cases

Requirements:

Active TX license

Prefer 3–5 years of experience

EMR: Epic

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (TBD)

Credentialing:

30 days (no temp privileges)

Fast review process – local MD approval

Travel & Lodging:

Flights, rental car, lodging provided

Mileage & lodging option available for those driving

TX-based providers strongly preferred

Compensation:

$375/hr + full T&L

$400/hr + T&L for select holiday weeks (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s)

Higher pay available for full-time 2+ week/month commitments (ask for details)
