Anesthesiologist – Locum Opportunity in Central Texas

Job description

We are seeking three Anesthesiologists to support a Level 1 Trauma Center in Temple, TX through the busy holiday season. This is a locum tenens assignment running from October through January, with consistent weekday coverage and the option to extend.
Position Details:
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8–10 hour shifts
• No weekends or call required
• Start Date: October (subject to credentialing; approx. 135 days after name clear)
• Contract Length: October 2025 – January 2026
Clinical Setting:
• Level 1 Trauma Center
• No hearts or livers, but a wide variety of high-acuity cases
• Must be comfortable managing critically ill patients
• Providers will both solo cases and supervise CRNAs and CAAs
Requirements:
• Active Texas Medical License required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Strong experience with complex cases and high-acuity patients
