Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist needed in Texas

Location: Texas
Start Date: ASAP (upon credentialing)
Coverage Type: Supervision

Assignment Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (some call may be required)

Practice Setting: 127-bed acute care hospital

Support Model: 1 MD supervising 4–6 CRNAs

Patient Population: 70% Adults | 30% Pediatrics

Procedures: Mix of adult and pediatric cases

Peds cases may include appendectomy, ENT, and rare complex procedures (e.g., pyloromyotomy)

EMR: Cerner

Average daily census: Depends on case load

Requirements

Board Certification in Anesthesiology (Required)

Active Texas License (no exceptions)

BLS Certification

DEA Required

Minimum 1 year of experience (pediatric experience preferred)

Clean background: Name & NPI required

Credentialing: 60–90 days
