Aya Locums is excited to share a new Anesthesiologist opportunity in South Texas. This role offers a balanced mix of adult and pediatric cases in a hospital setting, with a supportive CRNA team.

Assignment Details
-Start Date: As soon as credentialed
-Contract Length: Ongoing
-Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours + potential call
-Schedule: 7:00a–5:00p

Work Details
-Support Staff: 1 MD with 4–6 CRNAs
-Patient Population: 70% Adults / 30% Pediatrics
-EMR: Cerner
-Procedures: Supervision of CRNAs. Mix of adult and pediatric cases including appendectomy, ENT, and occasional complex pediatric procedures (e.g., pyloromyotomy – rare).

Practice Setting
-Hospital

Requirements
-Board Certification: Required (Anesthesiology)
-State License: Active TX license
-DEA: Required
-Certifications: BLS
-Minimum Experience: 1+ year
