Job description

Specialty: Cardiovascular Anesthesiology (MD/DO)
Certification: Board Certified in Anesthesiology
License: Active TX License required
Certifications: ACLS

Dates Needed (2025):
November 24–28
December 8–12
December 22–29
(2026 dates TBD; preference for candidates available for 2025 weeks)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Call Details:
Weekend call: Friday night to Monday morning (off-site beeper; only come in for cases)
Call ratio 1:2 or 1:3 depending on staffing
Post-call day: assist morning cases, then off-site if no active cases
Case Types: Cardiac, EP, Thoracic, and Cardiology
Must be proficient in intra-op TEE interpretation and placement of central and arterial lines

Cardiac Fellowship preferred but not required if experienced
All own cases (no CRNA supervision)
Two ORs dedicated to Cardiothoracic cases

EMR: Epic
Credentialing: Expedited, approximately 45 days
