Overview:
A full-time Anesthesiologist is needed to support a medical direction care model, working closely alongside CRNAs. This role requires strong hands-on anesthesia skills and the ability to function smoothly within a collaborative team. Interviews are being scheduled for next week, and candidates must provide an anesthesia skills checklist and interview availability with submission.

Position Details:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00a–3:00p
Coverage Needed: 3–4 weeks per month (required at this time)
Contract Length: 6-month minimum, with the option to extend (please note candidate’s preferred initial term)
Start Date: Approximately 135 days after offer (credentialing timeline)
Call/Weekends: None
EMR: Epic
Interview: 30-minute phone interview

Clinical Details:
Case Types (must be able to perform all): Orthopedics, regional anesthesia, urology, general surgery, GI, and obstetrics
No: Trauma, hearts, neuro, or sick pediatrics
Model: Medical direction — working with CRNAs; no supervision responsibilities

Requirements:
Active Texas medical license
Ability to run a full hands-on anesthesia load
Strong team communication and collaboration skills
Clean background (required)

Credentialing:
Estimated at 135 days following name-clear and internal review
Client is exploring possible expedited credentialing
