🩺 Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist – GI Focus (Academic Setting)
Specialty: Anesthesiology – Gastrointestinal Procedures
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Coverage Commitment: Minimum 1 week per month
Call: None
Start Date: Flexible

🏥 Position Overview
Join a respected Academic Anesthesia Department providing anesthesia services for GI procedures in an ambulatory setting. This locum opportunity offers a predictable weekday schedule with no call responsibilities, ideal for anesthesiologists seeking consistent, low-stress coverage.

👥 Clinical Details
2 procedure rooms, 1 MD per room daily

6–12 cases per day

Support staff includes typical GI team for ambulatory care

Patient population: adult GI cases

EMR: Epic

🛠️ Skills & Experience
Comfortable with both Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) and General Anesthesia

Minimum 1 year of experience required

Must be adaptable to academic protocols and collaborative environments
