Locums Anesthesiologist - Utah GI Outpatient Clinic - Monday-Friday Day Shifts w/ No Call

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist to provide GI anesthesia services at an academic outpatient clinic in Utah. This is an excellent opportunity for an Anesthesiologist looking for structured day shifts with no call requirements in a rewarding academic environment. Coverage is needed starting January 12, 2026, with a minimum of 4 days per week.

Job Details:

Case Types: GI Anesthesia (MAC and General Anesthesia)
Setting: Academic Outpatient Surgery Center
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm (8-hour shifts), no call
Weekly Commitment: Minimum 4 days per week
OR Capacity: 2 rooms, 1 MD per room each day
Daily Volume: 6-12 cases per day
Patient Population: Adults
Support: Standard GI staff for ambulatory setting
EMR System: Epic (required experience)
Academic Environment: University-affiliated anesthesia department
Location Restriction: No providers within 50 miles of facility in Salt lake city 

Requirements:

Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology
Active Utah Medical License (required in hand, clean background required)
DEA License
Utah CSR Required
ACLS and BLS Certifications
Epic EMR experience required
Minimum 1 year of experience
Comfortable with both MAC and General Anesthesia
COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
